LGBTQ Matching Service (AUDIO)

This week, I spoke with Tammy Shaklee, a leading LGBTQ relationship expert and president of H4M, one of the nation’s top LGBTQ-certified matchmaking companies. Since founding the National Offline Matching Society a decade ago, Tammy and her team have successfully matched thousands of LGBTQ clients across the country who were looking for long-term, committed relationships. As a fierce LGBTQ ally and advocate, Tammy understands the challenges singles face when looking for a suitable mate ever since she herself met her husband through a matchmaking service. Then, when she called the same matchmaker to recommend a gay friend, she was dismayed that this business not only doesn’t accept LGBTQ customers, but actually hung up on her for a simple request. This experience led Tammy to start her own LGBTQ matchmaking business after months of focus group surveys. Its unique process centers around traditional introductions and dating for LGBTQ singles who want to succeed in a relationship that rivals their professional success. H4M features quality eligible singles looking for a lasting and committed long-term relationship. Guests range in a variety of ages, ethnicities, education levels, professions and interests. This is how H4M works. The first step is to book a free oral consultation with one of H4M’s certified matchmakers, as H4M operates completely offline. After background check approval, applicants will be invited to become a client and will have access to review potential matches. The next step will be an introduction to date coordination followed by a post-date survey and, if necessary, next date coordination. I spoke to Tammy about what she hopes to accomplish with H4M and her vision for our LGBTQ issues. LISTEN
